Yossi Harari was inspired at an early age to become a jeweler. Surrounded by his family’s art and antiques in Istanbul, Israel and Switzerland, he aspired to visit the ancient craft of metalsmithing using 24-karat pure gold. Through his collection, Yossi revisits Byzantine and Etruscan jewelry with a modern eye. His collection has a sophisticated yet bohemian aesthetic. In addition to 24-karat gold, Yossi developed his own mixture combining gold and silver and creating “gilver”, a beautiful background of darkened metal against which his brilliant array of colorful gemstones pop. Yossi’s distinctive collections are hand made by expert craftsmen in his atelier in Istanbul.
