This pair of Old Cushion Cut Diamonds are an incredibly matched pair of hand cut stones circa the 1800s. The primary purpose of the cutting style used was to showcase the diamond’s brilliance by candlelight since they were hand cut at a time when electricity was not yet in homes. These two modified brilliant cut square cushions total over 9 carats in total weight, 4.5 cts and 4.64 cts respectively, and are set in a simple, elegant antique-style setting. These earrings are a classic investment piece with original European Gemological Laboratory Certifications.
